Frame is in excellent condition for its nearly 150 years. Some minor areas of loss to the gilt, no significant touch-ups and no repair work. The glass used to frame this piece is also antique, and has a subtle wavy or rippled appearance caused by glassmaking methods that predate the 20th century.
