Intaglio executed in 1963 by the artist John Mart Opie (b. 1936) entitled “Sea Captain” acquired directly from the artists estate portfolio of 1960s works on paper.
The frame was made by noteworthy PNW artist Jefferson Tester (1899-1972), and is a reverse cove frame constructed of Oregon pine accentuated with white gesso trapped in the open straight grain. Measures 21.5” x 18.75 over all. Ships free.
