this is an early example of Eunice Parsons Collage work, acquired directly from the artists estate. The collage is comprised of torn and cut prints that Eunice made herself as well as found papers. Original matting.
The career of Eunice Parsons spanned decades, her most recognized work being modernist abstract collage. Parsons taught printmaking and composition at the Portland Art Museum School for over 20 years and is considered one of the most influential artists of 20th century Pacific Northwest art.
