This is a signed original collage by noteworthy PNW artist Eunice Jensen Parsons (1916-2024) presented behind glass in a mid 20th century solid wood deep cove frame.
The career of Eunice Parsons spanned decades, her most recognized work being modernist abstract collage. This example from the 1970s represents the early beginnings of a collage portfolio that continued for 5 decades after its creation. Seen in the photos is a Sally Judd Gallery flyer for a show of her work from this era.
condition is stable, shows age appropriate patina such as foxing and color fading. The frame, circa 1950s, also shows age appropriate wear. The piece measures 22.25” x 18.5” x 3” over all and arrives ready to hang.
