1970 artist’s proof print, Insect Box, by notable Pacific Northwest painter and printmaker George Johanson (1928-2022) presented in an antique gilt frame a beautiful original dusty blue linen liner.
Pencil Signed, marked A/P, and titled. Presented behind glass in an antique gilt frame. Print is in excellent condition. There is a small pressure mark to the paper that can be seen under close scrutiny at the right angle. See last two photos. Very Inconspicuous, but mentioned for the sake of full disclosure on condition. The frame shows a heavy patina of age appropriate wear. Some areas of gilt loss or touch ups. Minor miter separation due to age, but stable and ready to hang. Measures 25.5” x 29.5” over all.
